FUL JAMES 2010!

Every year hundreds of keen kayakers descend on the awesome Ful James rapid on the mighty Waikato River . White water, partying, and debauchery galore! A great time for newbies and seasoned pros, Ful James is not to be missed. Find out all you need to know about Ful James 2010 here.

Join AUCC for a classic trip down Rangitaiki river including both the Aniwhenua run (Grade II) and Jeff's Joy run (III-IV).

1st April - 5th April is the annual Easter Trip to Mohaka.

Mohaka is AUCC's most remote trip and is smaller in numbers than both Ful James and Aniwhenua. Mohaka is an incredibly scenic trip through massive gorges and boulder gardens.

Few people can say they have seen this beautiful part of New Zealand. Experience it the best way possible... with paddle and boat will travel.

10th- 11th April offers a chance for our seconders and instructors to get some more challenging stuff in. It's also the second to last Wairoa flow of the season.

Starting the weekend off is the Mangahao Release on Saturday. It's a fair drive but you'll be rewarded with some great GIII-IV paddling. The Mangahao is only released twice a year or with heaps of rain.

Either drive back up for Wairoa on the Sunday or if you're not up to the Mangahao make it a day trip to Wairoa- our local just out of Tauranga. Wairoa has GII, III, and IV sections.

It's that time of year when you finally get to see that hot steamy babe you've been longing for on the river to be decked out in their finest attire! Come to club dinner looking smokin' and bag that hottie!

Thursday, May 20th at 7:15 at LaPorchetta, Hobson St.

Cost is $20 (cash only), which includes entrees, mains, and a dessert! Wine will be provided, but feel free to BYOW if you want to get completely mothered. RSVP essential so check out your emails or facebook.

AUCC DOES THE AMAZING RACE

ALL AROUND AUCKLAND!!!

It’s a race around Auckland doing numerous tasks that involve brain, brawn, speed, and a strong stomach.

Kick off the winter paddling season with a trip to Tarawera and Waioeka! This weekend offers some great Grade II-III paddling for our seconders and above plus the chance to brush up on safety skills for those who are keen (and can brave the cold).
