Club email list

Hi all,

I still receive from time to time messages of member that are not on the mailing list. If you are a member and you mailbox is not clogged up with aucc email then you know you're not on the email list. Maybe we didn't enter your address properly, maybe the invitation ended up in your spam folder or got blocked by you mail filter, anyway if you're not on the email list, you'll want to be as from now all the trips are smaller and solely organised through emails.

If this applies to you, send an email to aucanoeclub@gmail.com, explaining your situation. I will then check that you are on the member list and that you have paid your membership and then send you an invite. If you still don't receive anything after a ferw days let me know again.

Cheers

Quentin

Aniwhenua / Rangitaiki

The Aniwhenua trip is coming! (April 5th and 6th 2008)

We will be camping on the side of the lake Aniwhenua, a beautiful and free campground, with runing water and proper flush toilets. That's what we call Luxury!!

Come down on friday night or early saturday morning and enjoy some of the most primo kayaking the North Island has to offer!

Great grade 2, 3 and 4 kayaking suitable for beginners through to advanced paddlers. Rafting suitable for beginners on an awesome Grade 4 run is also offered on both days.

We go to the Murupara pub on saturday night for carnage with the locals, and there's even the possibility of a free hotpool or two.

Signups are going on all this week and early next week by emailing kerimonks@yahoo.co.nz with the following details:

Name
Time leaving
Suburb
Phone number
Do you have your own gear?
Do you have a car? if yes, how many passengers can you take? Does it have roofracks? if so, how many boats can you take?

costs:  gear hireage ($10/day for kayakers, $15/day for rafters), petrol money, food and drink.
